Answers to Your Important Questions

Locally owned Pinewood Acres has compiled the answers to many frequently asked questions below. If you have further questions, contact us today at (888) 555-1212

  • What Is Assisted Living?

Assisted living provides residents with the independence of still living in a home-like environment but with the needed assistance and encouragement to help with daily living tasks.

  • Why Choose an Assisted Living Facility?

We feel like an assisted living environment allows for increased socialization, more opportunity for physical activity and a “worry-free” living environment. It can also be comparatively less expensive than living at home.

  • What Are ADL’s?

They are the everyday tasks we perform by ourselves to accomplish our routine needs. They include bathing, dressing and grooming, toileting, transferring and/or walking, continence and eating.

  • How Do I Arrange a Tour of Crystal Place?

Please contact us at 888-555-1212. While an appointment is not needed to tour we suggest you should schedule one to allow us the one-on-one time needed to tour the facility and answer any questions that you may have.

  • What Type of Rooms Are Available?

    See our floor plans page.

  • Are Rooms Furnished?

Our rooms are not furnished to allow you to bring your own things and make your room feel more like home.

  • How Do Meals and Nutrition Work?

We serve 3 meals per day, 7 days a week, which is fully included in the base residential agreement. Meals are served restaurant-style in our comfortable dining room.

Meals served also include meeting special dietary requirements an individual resident may have (an additional fee may apply). There are also daily snacks served.

For residents who require meals served in their rooms, we can accommodate in-room dining as well.

The staff is very friendly and always smiling. The residents seemed happy and you could see the staff has a good relationship with them. Very homey and comfortable. Also, smells clean and fresh when you walk in.
